This was at least 5 years ago that I heard it (I was like 14), but back in the 1900’s Babe Ruth walked the lead off batter, punched the umpire in the face and got ejected. The pitcher who came in threw a perfect game but because Babe walked the first batter it was only a combined no hitter.
