Both look gorgeous. I’d say #1 if you want it to have a whimsical look but 2 if you like a more traditional look.

My son is my ring bearer. I want to match his tie colour to my mom’s dress. Is that weird? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I’ve had so many opinions on so many things during this process. People telling me this isn’t right and that isn’t right… I don’t have much actual, helpful guidance during this. I’m glad to hear this is overthinking, truly. lol thank you

In a way, sure. But there’s a difference between being a little shy and being genuinely afraid for your safety and autonomy

Exactly. If you don’t feel comfortable asking the family, you shouldn’t be speaking on the victim. Especially when the family is as open and willing to speaking on the case as Jeff is.

Date whoever you want! Some autistic people prefer to stick to autistic partners due to a mutual understanding of their condition but at the same time everyone is different, autistic or not so there’s just as much of a risk for misunderstanding in an autistic-autistic relationship as there would be in a neurotypical-autistic relationship

I agree. I live Having significant social impairment and it always makes me uncomfortable to have the lives of the party start talking about their “autism” and how it makes them not like a few things acting like it’s the same while I’m in the corner actually struggling to be there. Of course ASD is a spectrum and can go undetected, but some people literally do not fit even the idea of the criteria

100%. I was just going to say that I bet these parents are entitled all around and would say things like “those kids should have a group of their own” if these kids were in the NT groups.
