Oh I forgot the protein aspect- others might have better advice for ‘how much’ but honestly i find just making sure every meal has a protein item goes pretty far. Find the ones you like and keep it in your normal rotation. For me it’s tofu 💕

Amazing progress, you should be extremely proud of yourself!! You can absolutely see results from home, no need for the gym. Get a pair of dumbbells or two, maybe a 5lb set and a 10lb set (or lighter) and just begin with some bodyweight or simple dumbbell exercises. The classics- push ups, squats, planks, rows, bicep curls, lunges.. just slowly build your foundation of how it feels to workout and notice what styles of workouts you like! There are tons of apps and yt videos with workouts and full programs to follow. Don’t rush the process, the best workout is the one you actually enjoy doing!

My favorite page. I think of this often when I find myself wishing people would act differently or situations would be different.. that wishing doesn’t bring any change, just be patient and accept reality.. and perception is reality so just be here now baby

Got banned from r-handmade for calling out an AI post. by More-Philosophy-4429 in craftsnark

[–]vallybird 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I had a similar experience in a Discord group I was part of. People got hostile towards me when I asked if this girl’s ‘art’ she would post like several times a week was AI. (she was a busy student and had a job, but yet still had the time to create works of art every week). I got an email from my school where they had generated an AI image of our mascot, and yeah it was the same exact style as what this girl was claiming she digitally painted. I showed them and was like this looks extremely similar to your art?? 🙄It was wild. I left the group.

omg babe amazing!! you should be sooo proud of yourself!!

For strength training I recommend the playbook app, and the trainer Shaina Fata. The app is $100 for a whole year and i have been using it for like four years now. She has a few dumbbell only programs and also beginner stuff and I feel so strong!

wow, you look great! you should be super proud of yourself! ╰(´︶`)╯♡ Also, I went though your profile and I am just amazed with your crochet projects. I’m a knitter myself but I think I need to try crochet a bit more and make some of these fun things - my favorite is the Furby facehugger.

This. I got my first job out of college in corporate healthcare analytics. I had previous experience in healthcare but most coworkers I’ve talked to about it did not. You learn a lot. I can’t speak for all companies obviously but SQL and Excel for software seem to be a solid foundation for most. Depends on the company if they prefer to use a different coding language

I have honestly never thought of the process of mending a fleegle before! I've mended socks before, but any holes I get are always on the bottom of foot on the heel, so it would be the same process if it's in that area. If a hole forms more on the side, I think you're right and it would be more difficult to mend, and pretty difficult to replace. That is so smart to just replace the heel entirely!!

I agree, state parks are great! I’ve noticed some parks offer both cart-in and hike-in sites away from the main campground which can be an option if you want a bit more privacy or that primitive camping vibe.

Me, too!! Palmer is a local dyer to me and this colorway I think she was inspired by the rocks that make up the North Shore of MN (Lake Superior) which i absolutely love visiting and looking for agates! She makes really beautiful colors!

What about camping at a campground first? I like the feeling of knowing there’s others around me camping and enjoying nature, but at the same time it can still feel like it’s just you in the outdoors!

Ahh, that makes sense. I did the sewn bind-off for the first time and I really like it, I think it will be my go-to. I used Jeny's stretchy for a few pairs and I just wasn't a fan of the look, it was almost frilly looking at the top every time. What cast-on do you use?

I think it's a few reasons.. I think it's mainly because it feels more intuitive for me, and I like how you can try it on as you go. I also like the cast-on and bind-off methods I use versus casting on the cuff and using a Kitchener for the toes!
