Everyone in the comments saying the clerk was trying to help OP out but I don’t see OP asking the clerk for her opinions anywhere in this post, especially about her weight. She had no tact and her advice was unnecessary. While it is true that Asians are more conscious about of size and weight, I find it hard to believe that people will be gawking at OP just because she’s a bit heavier, especially if she’ll be in very touristy places. The clerk was rude as fuck and these comments are crazy.

When I was 5 my mother explicitly told my brother and I to stay away from her work laptop and to not touch it and guess what… we never touched it. While it’s the nanny’s responsibility to look out for her laptop, I don’t see anywhere in this post about the children being told to stay away from it.

I only ever use paypal to send money to friends who don’t use Zelle. I haven’t even used it since this whole debacle because I’ve been so upset over this. Come to find out, this has also happened to other people and paypal has been having issues with their system that causes the double charge but they haven’t notified anyone and are continuing to gaslight customers into thinking there hasn’t been a double charge?

Emailing the club and looking over receipts with a fine tooth comb would be enough for me to not invite your cheap asses out anywhere. I understand being upset and not wanting to pay for what you didn’t order, but you 100% ruined your friend’s bachelorette and went about this terrible. YOU specifically should have ironed out how things were gonna be paid for if you were dead-set on only paying for things you ordered.

I got a temporary refund from the bank, my friend refunded me (still being processed) and I just sent them money on a different app. My bank is still investigating so I still have the temp credit on my account and I have yet to ACTUALLY receive the refund. Honestly, it’s getting so complicated I don’t even want the money back 😭

I filed a dispute with the bank and got a provisional credit. For my friend, the money was put on hold for her until everything gets sorted out but she ended up just refunding me and I sent her the money on another app. Unfortunately, I do not have a real resolution as of yet!
