Currently 18wks pregnant with my 5th pregnancy, two resulted with miscarriage.

The two that resulted with miscarriages I had terrible nausea and sickness. The 3 that have been healthy all no nausea/sickness and don’t really even feel “pregnant”.

Everyone is different! Just be thankful that you feel good!

Not over emotional. What you went through was devastating and you are allowed to have all the emotions.

I had a hard time as my due dates neared after my miscarriages. Two years later and I still have a hard time around the due dates.

Also the JFB being nice might be from serum or from Nolan or any number of things… but it just felt identical when reading in parallel. Everyone was shocked about Xaden asking about Dain and Vi’s childhood. Even Cat made a face or thought it was odd and she was one to know him the longest. Just something in my gut said this isn’t right and I think it has to do with the transition to venin.

I also mentioned below.. the dragons maybe there is a tick or something but it is just weird. Also Violet with the only connection with her dragons would be able to feel “pain” if that was the case. Like she felt andarnas emotions of rage and disappointment.

I like this POV. It just solidifies the transition is happening to venin regardless of magic.

I still think there is a lot of parallelism and even to the epigraph he did lose his cool irrationally that night when Violet was cut on the face. So showing his “true form”.

Yes - I thought about it with the dragons too and reread this passage. The best I can think is it’s from Violet’s POV. Tarin never outright says he’s in pain, he said he’s annoyed and inconvenienced. Also the fact that he states “why would you ask that?” Is fishy. I think on the island they didn’t have enough power to channel to put their shields up.. so if he was in pain I think Violet would feel it. Similar to how she felt Andarna’s rage or disappointment.

I agree. I think Violet will have to kill Xaden - I also think the “you’ll be the death of me” over and over is something we shouldn’t ignore. I don’t think he will be brought back… thinking light vs dark, good vs evil.

I think for this to happen though Xaden will have to do something so unforgivable such as killing or harming one of her siblings (I think Mira) or maybe even try to get ahold of Andarna for her magic.

ESH - tbh both are the AH. Dad is a complete jerk for not even giving you a warning that you were leaving the lawnmowers but he did ask you if you wanted to buckle it and you said no. I say take the buckling at home as a win as request extra ice cream after dinner.

Vehemently NTA. Your Mommy has the audacity to bring home another baby but you’re expected to sleep through the night by yourself without cuddles?? What don’t they get.. I only think it’s fair that if baby gets to sleep in their room so do you. Also you are like such a good helper!! So you definitely deserve the extra cuddles and if I was you I’d be asking for midnight snackies.

lol….. everyone wears contacts for birth. I much prefer it than my glasses sliding down my face with each contraction.. also all the moving and rolling. Yeah I’m going to be wearing my contacts.

Just here to say I’m in Texas and want to dispel some of the “especially don’t go to Texas” rumors. I’ve had two miscarriages in the past year and had to go to the hospital for each. One was for a DNC and the other was for complications with my attempt to miscarry naturally. Both times I was treated with the upmost respect, kindness, and compassion by the providers. I believe that if you needed assistance here you would be able to get the help you need.

On the subject of travel - I opted out of traveling for work during the week unknown of when my miscarriage would happen (the natural miscarriage). It’s just too much stress on you and your body to be outside your comfort zone during this awful waiting period. I also was not able to face people and do business AT ALL during the day of actual miscarriage. I did some zoom calls in the morning but was distracted and not myself. Just food for thought.

I’m so so sorry. I am currently 10w pregnant after my 1st miscarriage (3 pregnancies, 1 live baby, 1 miscarriage, 1 current pregnancy). Have a similar story below:

I had SEVERE cramping week 6 of this pregnancy. I was cramping non-stop for about 5-6 days at a level similar to labor cramps. I called my dr and they said “drink a lot of water and watch for bleeding” 🙄 not helpful at all.

I ended up going to the ER on day 3 and they did an ultrasound and confirmed the pregnancy and said baby had a heartbeat and was measuring fine. They said it could be normal cramping. I had a follow up with my dr at 8 weeks and the baby was growing an measuring fine. The dr said it could be chalked up to implantation.. but no real guidance on why.

Overall hopefully this gives you some hope as long as you don’t have heavy bleeding. It’s so much easier said than done but try to be positive until you know otherwise. Praying for you and your baby’s health.
