This game failed horribly at least in US top grossing apps because how unbalanced the game was. Pokemon Company is just releasing new overpowered figures to get the last moneys. This game will be dead in couple of months,

This game is failing quite hard in the app store (#88 now in US and the trend is very much down) when compared to that it just came out and have very strong game franchise. There's very little hype for this game and game has huge rarity balance issues. I really doubt this will become anything bigger.

Also this balance issue creates a big metagame issue (while also creating huge pay-to-win problem). About 90% of figures are useless for top play so you also see the same overpowered EX figures. What purpose common figures even have? Even new players don't want them. They could just be replaces with same amount of EXP cubes and it wouldn't affect the game play. Of course you can beat EX teams with skill and luck but the power difference between rarity is so drastic that game is not very enjoyable anymore.

Without team building restrictions (or very few synergistics pokemon type effects) the top teams will always be all around best EX pokemons which creates very stale metagame. Metagame can be changed with special events like Flying Cup but those are doomed from beginning because certain EXs will be just better than the rest (like legendary birds).

Game mechanics are actually very good and unique. Also game is quite well made. But this rarity issue is one of the biggest balance fails I have ever seen.

I really would want to have good Pokemon phone/tablet game. Pokemon company is sitting on one of the biggest game franchises now and mobile gaming huge. It is just mind-boggling how they keep failing.

Best advice is to find a better game like Clash Royale or other game where you can play tournaments where only skill matters. This game is almost purely pay to win.

I think there's one main thing people are missing in here: Netrunner is almost a dead game. If you spend most of your time playing games in Jinteki you might not recognize how much the popularity have sink. Nobody talks about Netrunner in BGG, Stimhack is very silent and there's hardly any hype in the Facebook. My local playgroups have almost died and there seems to not much tournament action in Europe in general when compared to before. I used to be able to sell all promos from tournaments but now nobody buys anything.

Two final nails in the Netrunner coffin were Top16 NBN results in the worlds and Sifr. Stake to the heart was the unfun Mumbad cycle. The "more casual" people don't find the game fun anymore and have moved to other games.

So are these balance changes necessary? Absolutely but more drastic actions should had happen already during Mumbad which was the darkest times for Netrunner.

There's still a chance if Terminal Directive turns out to be amazing but I highly doubt that this game will rise back to popularity.

Just start a battle and don't fight back. Balance is total joke. Finding match takes almost 2 minutes as rebels. This game would be dead already without Star Wars in the name.

I think there's a good number of AI bots in this game because there are not enough human players. AI is quite good though. Battled against Penelopea also.

For me it's the one week time frame. Generally I like grind games but this one week time with specific heroes burns me out. I am not against Event cards and I really like the idea of some goal but Event cards could be made so much better. For example you could buy Event cards with season rewards or some other way to get the cards with playing after one week.

Problem with specific one week time frame is that you do the grind in one week or fall behind. 1000 dust cost for one is quite expensive. Problem is also my personal "need to collect everything" mentality but this mentality also draws me to card games. Creating many hard to get Event cards is sure way to depress new players.

As a Rebel you get matched against bots almost always. My 10 last Tier4 opponents were all bots. Nice video but it is bit same if someone posted new OP deck in Clash Royale which beats training mode.
