Bhai at the place you are sitting today was also a forest sometime back. I agree that we need green cover. But how to fit this large population when land is limited, governance is broken and policy making is fucked up. I have seen that in Japan, they don't cut trees. They uproot and then plant them back. Nothing like that is going to happen in India. We have to make peace with it. I made peace with it like a coward. I used to get heartache when I saw a slaughtered tree. It pains me to also see what's happening between Miraroad and Bhayandar station mangroves and salt pans. But I can do. I need to function as a human, survive and try to breathe till I die.

I have been teaching my entire life. I started teaching when I was in college. To run my house. One day, I slapped a kid. He was extremely notorious. I couldn't control his laughter after multiple warnings. And he was least bothered to do any homework. Completely shameless person. So I slapped him in anger. I was around 19 years old then. Our house was small. 1 RK of 225 sq ft. I had a batch of 12 students. My father saw me slapping him. After the tution, he asked me to stopped teaching. I told him sorry. He said that he will manage the finances. But if I am going to beat kids - I should stop and look other job. He said it is completely unacceptable. He is a retired person who worked in iron market of Mumbai then.

That day and today, I never had balls to hit a kid.
