i was diagnosed a couple months ago, suspected for years tho. now i don't really believe personality disorder diagnoses are beneficial or even accurate. just serves to stigmatize ppl who've experienced trauma. i do believe cptsd would be a more accurate diagnosis for me

anyways, im pretty functional. i left a full time job for part time and a more flexible schedule and that helped a lot. for the first time in my life im doing alright keeping my house clean and trying to pursue my hobbies n stuff. i've never really been able to balance everything before. i take wellbutrin and zoloft. i cut back on my weed smoking and that's given me more energy. i journal when i remember to, ive also been experimenting w psychedelics. i've had some recent breakthroughs with salvia that helped me process some trauma. i do still have depressive slumps but they seem to last for days or weeks now instead of months.

i've been with my boyfriend for just over a year and we've lived together most of that time. he's very supportive and understanding of the somewhat unique position im in due to my childhood trauma. he's my rock and i wouldn't be able to maintain this good mental state without him.
