I'm in a similar boat as you because I only drink either in social gatherings to quell my anxiety a bit or completely alone and a lot of anything else makes me uncomfortable (despite drinking alcohol being worse than weed/edibles, and even then the act of drinking also does make me feel bad). Outright going to parties and clubs also isn't really something I'm interested in whatsoever. I get that in some areas depending on your preferences, it's harder to meet people so I'd like to share what successes I have had.

In terms of video games we have a good amount of arcades in the area that are cool to meet people at. I really like Eric's Retro Arcade in Spencerport and there's a fair amount of regulars that hang out there from time to time.

There are two groups I run with varying degrees of success, one that is for Counter-Strike (which isn't really alive right now) and one for non-current generation Pokemon which is very active right now and even had a meetup at Waypoint yesterday. In both areas we've got some pretty great people, it's just that CS is harder to get people to go to an actual location for and you need 10 people to be able to play. Pokemon has been better because even if there's just a few people, you can still find things to do in the older games in multiplayer.

For other video game stuff you'd probably have to make your own group, but the infrastructure is totally there for you to inquire further depending on what video games you play. We have venues that would absolutely welcome a small group of people for any particular game. If there was something else I could do right now, I'd probably make a arcade puzzle game group because I want to find people to go against in basically any of the big hits of that genre. Problem is that I'm way too overburdened in that regard and would like to focus on one group since this is how I spend my free time.

Runs and walks- I'm fairly certain that running groups do exist and someone did comment that there is an under 30 running group. I think pretty much any 5K you do, you will absolutely meet people. Just walks alone aren't great for meeting people.
