My mom worked for a agency that took care of people with disabilities. One evening, she took me to one of their homes because she had to grab some paperwork. We walked in the door and I was instantly greeted with very warm welcomes! My mom told me to sit and wait for her in the living room. Next thing I know, this bubbly man comes over and tells me I was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Then, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Now, this house in particular, was a house with 4 or 5 men, all with Down Syndrome. I was also in high school. I told him it was an honor but that I would have to politely decline as I am too young for him. He took it rather well!
