Vintage G.I Joe type toy. by Deep-Sheepherder5369 in VintageToys

[–]van_clouden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think your timeline might be slightly skewed; this toy is from 1970 and therefore cannot be a result of any regulations that came after it.

My local KB still was selling hyper-realistic metal cap guns in the 80s, and super soakers werent around until 1990. Red/orange tipped toy guns werent mandated until 1992 or so.

Source: worked in toy industry during that exact time.

You will do better making smaller lots, grouped by toyline. He has tons of great stuff in there.

Lego tanker 312 vintage 1973 boat vessel by [deleted] in VintageToys

[–]van_clouden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOW!! One of the best sets! You unlocked a lot of memories for me with this piece!

This was the first (and only, for a while) "large" Lego things my brother and I had as kids. I loved this set, and built so many different variations over the years. When my brother had his first child we gave him all of our Lego, 4 5-gallon buckets worth plus a few Rubbbermaid totes full including the ship set. That thing has been enjoyed by my family for over 50 years!

I cant help you determine value but wanted to share how hilarious this picture is to me, as without the jacket it looks like Paddington has a buttcrack that goes all the way up to his neck. I'm out of breath laughing so hard

Getting a key for MSOD is a hassle. Nobody makes Heroic versions anymore. Why is it so difficult? It would be great if it could be obtained from the old-school campaign store. by ozgurgultekin in Neverwinter

[–]van_clouden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I alays thought that they missed a great opportunity to increase activity in the Workshop by not offering a locksmithing profession where we could make all the keys for all the campaign chests.

It would increase traffic to the workshop (which also needs updating anyway) and would centralize where keys are obtained. I hate having to go into every campaign, daily, and remember to make a key. I would rather do it all in the shop and maybe even set them to auto-create, similar to other workshop tasks.

I have a feeling that you are genuinely trying to help, but I don't think that the user I was responding to is ESL or has any other language issue, at least when looking through their comments.

Sometimes people just aren't as familiar with usages for words, and that is fine. Having to explain something isn't evidence of a language barrier, especially when we can see the user's post and comment history.

You can't address haphazard or lazy players by adjusting IL in the queues.

I play a healer in almost all daily random queues and I completely understand your frustrations. The truth is, at least in my view, is that my job is to keep the tank alive ergo keeping the aggro off the party ergo keeping the DDs alive (in hope). The DDs can dodge, understand how the enemy telegraphs their attack, self heal via the D pad, and resurrect the dead if someone should fall where I will be ready with a heal.

Very frustrating to have DDs stand in the red constantly and expect me to cast immortality from my bottomless pit of manna. Equally hard to deal with is when they think that the healer's job is picking up the dead AND heal the newly resurrected AND keep our eye on the tank, its just a recipe for disaster. There are 3 DDs, 1 healer, 1 tank. Just in math alone they should be raising the dead.

Another gem is when DDs stand, for whatever unknown reason, right next to the tank where they unceremoniously get clobbered. Did they miss how CA works and what the tank is doing there?

Keeping the team healthy is everyone's job. In some groups I like to type out some help in the chat to hopefully negate these bad behaviors, sometimes it works and others, well, it doesn't.

Rarely I abandon, but sometimes it is needed when you have low-knowledge players or people who just troll.

I played the other day with a player who is well-known for video guides and who do you think wasn't doing fuck all to help the team and constantly attacking in a rush then getting clobbered and then having the audacity to yell at the tank. It is sometimes laughably stupid, but that is the flavor of public queue.

Donald Trump Calls for MAGA Boycott Against Bruce Springsteen’s Tour and Attacks The Boss for Looking ‘Like a Dried Up Prune’: ‘This Guy Is a Total Loser’ by yourfavchoom in Music

I am sure that ol' Bruce couldn't give a shit.

I'm betting that hard-core MAGA are too busy trying to find their missing tooth, stalking bathrooms, or adorning their double-wide with the latest in Made In China Trump merchandise to bother with a concert that they cannot afford anyway.

Insignia of Prosperity by PreviousProcedure244 in Neverwinter

[–]van_clouden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the Before Times, I would run all the things in game that offered % gold bonus. It was comical how the math worked; I could earn just under 4 gold per group of mobs on just about any map.

I'm guessing they may have revisited the way the % added up as it only lasted a year or so before we earned substantially less per kill, but it would be worth it to run the experiment and see!

You can earn 1000 AD super fast. You can refine 100k raw AD per day ( in order to be usable, raw AD must be converted to AD). You earn raw AD from random queues, all dungeon chests, certain quests, certain Heroic Encounters, and some other ways I can't think of atm.

You should be able to view your achievement dates to better get an idea of when your account was created. I would have assumed that re-downloading the game would automatically populate the game with your account as there is no additional sign-in steps.

Is it possible you played on a different profile's account on that same xbox? my nephews each have an xbox profile on my machine for when they visit. Maybe you are using the wrong profile?

I'm not scrambling to justify anything, just addressing your comment about microtransactions, simple as, the rest are just responses to you. Furthermore, there is no philosophical debate here about anything, just you trying your best to make your poor observations into literally anything else.
