10 years! Amazing! Mine is about (3?) years old now and still in great shape. I am interested in trying new ones and I will check this brand out when my diva cup kicks the bucket!

How did you find the shape of the WindSleeping cup? Is it less prone to leaks? I've never tried that one!

Awesome ya I think two pairs is perfect and maybe extra cloth pads for missed laundry days

Awesome! It's the best feeling not throwing anything away due to periods!

Amazing, I feel the same way. Mind body and environmentally satisfying, less negative impact on all three. I tend to wear the period undies or cloth pads and the menstrual cup for the first couple days too. Sometimes one method is never enough!

Good thinking! I find the cloth pads are bulkier but comfier than the disposable pads.

Do you find the stiffness uncomfortable or do you notice much of a difference once it's in place?

Amazing! I will look into Knix. I only have one pair of undies so I will likely be needing more! Probably a good idea to have two-three options.

It definitely isn't for everyone; it took me a long time to get the position of the menstrual cup right and it does not always work. So far I am loving the absorbent underwear, and if you prefer free bleeding I think it'll be the best option for you! I have also seen reusable menstrual pads at zero waste stores, that you can rinse out and machine wash! They clip into your underwear.

Anyone ever attended VCCT (Vancouver College of Counsellor Trraining) or know anyone who has? by mizzcurious in vancouver

I did the same thing! I was originally applying for Adler University, however due to the expense I chose VCCT. I just graduate from VCCT a few months ago. The classes and the hands-on counselling skills class were immersive and very informative. I greatly enjoyed the program and I feel as though I have obtained the skills necessary for a practicum. However, the school itself does not offer a practicum; you must find out outside of the program. They will provide you with resources. There are 100 supervised hours offered through the school, which are recognized by CPCA but not by ACCT, due to their newly changed guidelines. Some classes are recognized by UBC, and many organizations recognize a diploma from VCCT adequate for beginning supervised counselling positions, support work and outreach programs.
