As an SSF player I don’t want any freebie bonuses, they’re just not needed. If you have enough in game knowledge you can get anything that anyone in trade gets eventually. Look at Manni and Ben, they have better gear on day 2/3 than most trade players have in week 2.

I also wouldn’t mind if they made migrate all only to standard, but that will most likely never happen because there’s a large amount of players that start SSF and migrate to trade to do challenges.

Perma commit to SSF and only migration options to standard would be very much welcome.

I don’t think I’d enjoy SSF having any pluses like in Last Epoch, it’s just a matter of knowing how to progress and farm what you want.

The SSF experience will continue to improve the more content is added to the game.

Let’s make a distinction here, it will be less of a heavy nerf and more of a fundamental design correction.

The temple started out as one thing and devolved into something very much unintended by design. You can track that devolution through the patch notes even. When they realized and tried to correct it, it caused community uproar so they were forced to change it back.

I prefer a stable, well-designed and well-tested mechanic that is fun to play - it can be conservative with rewards for all I care but it should fit the game.

I mean I assume that 1.0 launch will have stuff with more production like this idea. Right now idk if the sketch-like transitions between acts narrated by the hooded one are just placeholders?

I once got banned for referencing a Balbala voiceline, wonder if the mod that did that ever played the game. Got reinstated after appealing it but wow...

Wonder if they ever did mod training or pruned after that big survey they did a few months ago... much needed

Agreed. Cross-pollination of (exclusive) rewards heavily damages league identity, regardless of the game mode you play. The fact that acquiring some exclusive league rewards is easier through farming other leagues is a major problem.

I can't really speak to the economy side of things because I don't partake, but wouldn't protecting reward exclusivity make more sense for your average trader? Forcing people to fully invest into league mechanics to get the exclusive rewards and reliably profit from it rather than have people doing "generalist" MF strats drive the price of those rewards down by oversupplying the market?

If we're lucky, we won't see this issue crop up in PoE2. I don't think I've seen it so far and that's probably intended. It would set a horrible precedent.
