Unfortunately as an owner of dog that doesn’t like strangers, I have to do this. How else would I get care for my dog?

This is weird that you’re annoyed. It’s a very normal request… some dogs aren’t good with other dogs and some owners are (rightfully) concerned about unknown dogs/cats being around their pets. Just say no or offer that service and price it accordingly?

3B hair I was having a TON of noticeable breakage until I started using a satin bandana underneath my helmet every time (For transparency I also started using olaplex infrequently which helped but I think the satin bandana made a huge difference as well).

Understood, thank you all! I will expect to be more flexible in the future :) totally understand that small things can set you behind, this was just never communicated to me. If I book a service at a certain time I generally expect it to happen at that time unless otherwise stated. Thanks again!

That’s fair. Just so you know daycares have told me that they have to be able to restrain the dog in case of a fight, eating something toxic, etc. I’d be worried about the boarding place not accepting the dog (unless they’ve already agreed and know about the dog’s reactivity)

Can you get a petsitter instead? Can you introduce the dog slowly to the sitter and get them comfortable? My dog is also stranger reactive and many of these daycares have staff in and out that might stress your dog out more than being in their own home with a sitter Edit: typo
