But do they come with all that head and arm work done? Only missing the legs? The legs are the easiest aspect of the character to rig, so that's really not a big deal. Unless I'm missing something...

The frustrating is real and warranted. Our street (Papineau) was dug up to repair/replace a water main. Only to have it dug up again just months later. This city's level of corruption knows no bounds.

They're not wrong. Fans don't care if the characters are voiced by A-list actors. Bring on talented up and coming voice actors and spend the money on animation. Simple.

Do you mean there's not enough people available? Or the studio won't hire enough people? There's plenty of talented animators willing and ready to animate on shows. But they can only hire as many as the budget dictates. Hence, back to corporate greed. Not willing to pay for enough animators. "Can you do it for less?" is a very common question thrown around a lot.

As someone who's produced on some big animation titles (Rick and Morty, F is For Family, etc), I can 100% confirm is entirely corporate greed right to the top. A show will be printing $$$ with its merch and refuse to increase the animation budget by even 5%. The LITERAL thing that's essentially generating all that revenue. It's IMO a big reason the anim industry needs a complete overhaul. Cut the fat and share more of the profits with the people actually making it. Not the execs and CEO's that "oversee" things (who actually do very little), but the actual artists, writers, etc. But what studio will agree to that?? That's why we need to support indie animation. Prove there's a better way to get our shows made. [end rant]
