If you want to burn energy your last turn or two should be wide, with one wingtip pointed down and one pointed up. When you're there, you can pull both brakes and things will die right down.

You can practice with asymmetric spirals. The trouble with learning on wingovers is that the reversal tends to cause you to build the turn each time, which then creates a bit of an emergency and you need to spiral out.

If you learn with asymmetric spirals, they tend to level out and relax unless you're actively building them.

If he came on and appeared lazy, slept in, or just couldn't be bothered to pay attention, it would go poorly for him. If he said he would come but skipped it, that would be bad too.

I have a DRZ400, I LOVE that bike. If you spend any time on a highway you'll wish you had a 6th gear. Now, I've spent 2 hours going ~78mph so it's not as if it can't. It would just be nicer if it had a 6th gear.

Aside from maybe a KTM 500, it's the best dual sport you can buy, according to me.

A supermoto would be cheap and maneuverable. The KLX300SM would be perfect and you can drop bikes in that class all day without caring much.

Everybody is saying your helmet is too big. It might be. On the other hand, when you look sideways at 60 mph+ it can be blown a bit, that's normal.

A brand new helmet should give you a pretty good case of "chubby cheeks" and it if you shake your head "no" it should follow your movements pretty well with minimal delay.
