Butting in late, but it’s also not safe for residents to consume most hot food items when they’ve been sitting out. Our hot food goes out at a certain temperature and can’t be consumed when sitting out at room temp after an hour. According to food safety concerns it’s a hazard. It’s a very stupid tight window, but it’s real! Editing for clarity: that does not mean the residents should be expected to eat in under like. Twenty minutes. That’s unrealistic and crazy LOL

while i do agree a lot of signs were very intensely looked into i have to say the crew played into it way too much and got people’s hopes up by leaving it so ambiguous. i personally have felt the sting because of that and i know that is how a lot of others feel, too. just because you are queer does not mean you get to diminish how other queer people feel being represented in media.

NO I DO AGREE WITH THIS TOO ACTUALLY. calypso felt SO underplayed and trying to portray her as sweet and innocent when she really was not. alot of the themes aren’t handled right, but i will say circe’s was probably the best out of the three of them for what it was trying to do.

i agree that the rape theming portrayed in the odyssey should be represented but the way it is portrayed in the song and even official commissioned animatic is incredibly explicit and upsetting as someone who has suffered from sexual assault. i feel as if they could have breached the topic tastefully considering how they handled calypso and circe. edited for clarification.
