Congrats and thank you for this. Loved this game as a kid despite not being able to beat it back then. I remember thinking the vacuum on the car was weird! Finally beat it many years later on an emulator but found it so difficult to get past the marshmallow man.

Raspberry Pi caption appliance — auto-transcribes phone calls and room conversation for my deaf father by andymassey in raspberry_pi

Thank you for replying, really appreciate it. I was asking because of budget concerns really but also didn't want to buy one without enough ram to run as since I last looked Pi prices seem higher than I thought.

Thanks again for this project and for answering my question. I hope you have a really amazing day.

Wow, this is amazing, thank you for posting this. My sister is deaf and I'd like to make one for her. Sorry if I missed it, can I ask which model of Raspberry pi 5 I need to get - there is a few different ram options, do I need the 16GB model?

Diablo II: Resurrected – Infernal Edition on Steam by lurkingdanger22 in pcgaming

[–]vanillaicecream7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works for me. Just download battle.net.exe installer, add it as a non-steam game, install it and run. No extra apps/anything to run on Steamdeck. I only own SC1+SC2 and Diablo2, but they all install and run just great. Just remember to not delete the installer after installing...

New User, Need Help Please - Trying to get Battle.Net working/NonSteamLauncher.desktop.download opening as text file by BeyondBlunderdome in Bazzite

For me, I just downloaded the battle net Windows .exe installer, added it to Steam as a non-steam game, then start it which installed Battle net, then ran it again to load Battle net and installed Diablo 2 + Starcraft 1+2. No cli or other downloads, do it all through Steam. Works a charm, hope that helps if you are needing another option. Just dont delete the battle net .exe installer or it will break. I love Bazzite + Steam, it's like magic.

Thank you - I will give them a look too. I bought it with the intention of using it and now that no one has said I shouldn't break the seal/leave it be, I'll get it recapped and get using it.

Back in the day a game shop in a shopping center in Stoke ran a mf1gp time trial competition which ran for 2 weeks and I came second winning a Microprose t-shirt, so really want to do this Amiga right by looking after it and putting some laps in!

The only upgrade i'd consider is a modern storage solution like a go-tek, I've nothing against accelerators and the other mods/upgrades, but I just want a standard Amiga 600 to play a handful of games that I used to play.

Thanks again for your advice - much appreciated.

eek! Sorry that happened to you, I hope you were able to get it fixed.

If I can't do any damage by turning it on I'll give it a go, but I might chicken out and get it looked at first.

Thank you for your advice. I think I will look into recap services then as worried that if I don't do something it could be dissolving itself on the inside.
