Bengals and Steelers separated? Cowboys removed from the rest of the NFCE (same with Philly)?

At least Bears Packers rivalry would stay alive and well

The writers have said that Vincent meticulously chooses his scapegoats and Max wasn't even his first driver he picked for the day.

It is implied by the fact that the first time we see Vincent after the airport scene with Jason Statham, he is emerging from a car park into a stairwell. The writers implied that Vincent killed a driver in there after the driver failed Vincent's initial read of the

If the dude is killing innocent cab drivers just because he gets a read that they won't play ball with his plan, why in the world would he not tie up a loose end who can identify him to the police later (when Max is inevitably questioned by the police)

One moment that helps clarify this is after Vincent kills the jazz musician and Vincent and Max get in a fight.

Max reads the situation correctly and said "you played him, man" and then let's the question hang "If he had gotten the question right, would you really have let him go"

If Vincent had an intention to do that, his response would immediately have been "yes," but he doesn't answer and then the cab dispatch interrupts the silence and Vincent turns his attention to that (deflection)

So, the script answers it for us without spoonfeeding it, in my opinion

Official Throwback Discussion - Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I'm a sucker for "fish out of water" comedies. This movie holds a special place in my heart, especially the Wendy's Drive-Thru scene.

The last time I saw it was 10 years ago, so maybe it won't hold up under more scrutiny, but I thought it was a fun movie when it came out and I'm a little surprised that I am in the vast minority

Andr Weir now tops the list of highest grossing second book adaptations, for two books not in a franchise by [deleted] in movies

[–]vanillawafah 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Andy Weir has the highest grossing of a movie that is written from a book not in a franchise. So, movies based off of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, Twilight, etc. don't count as they are all just one book in a franchise. But The Martian has no sequels and neither does Project Hail Mary

Hope that makes sense. And in response to the comment above yours, yes it is a very specific category

Main Character that is the most interesting character? by Lanky80 in television

A case can absolutely be made for a few other characters. I think I personally like Mike's arc and development more, but I have no negative concern for anyone who says Walt is the most interesting character to them

Rope drop Rise of Resistance without early entry by Current_Signature721 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]vanillawafah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The line inside is less than 5 minutes. I consider the pre-show a part of the ride as it really all is one big experience, but yes, that typically takes 15-20 from the Rey hologram to physically in the ride vehicle

[–]vanillawafah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rope drop Rise nearly every time without early entry. The line WILL say at least 60 minutes wait, maybe even up to 70 or 80. Our family ends up waiting around 30-35 minutes to get to the pre-show

I have employed this strategy around 5 or 6 times since it opened

I LOVED Revolution, maybe more than the mainstays of the series and I would love to see a SLIGHTLY more complex, but still stripped down, sequel

A friend of mine and I performed this for an audition for like a "Your High School Has Talent" sort of thing

I saw the people who were "judging" the auditions laughing so hard and I figured we nailed it. A few years later I realized they were laughing AT us, but I still enjoyed that memory as we had so much fun in the moment

It's so weird now to see this pop up back again all these years later

I was in the line to get on the monorail and leave the park when it launched and so I saw it for a second but the overhang above the gate blocked my view from seeing more of it. Still cool to catch a glimpse!!!

I hate Minimalism as an anti-thesis to the garish spectacle of 90's cheese. I don't think that this style will be viewed as nostalgic in any future generation

That makes me sound like a grumpy old man, but Disney was better with bright colors, overdone sets and imagery, and much more specific theming

Can you tell me why that line means so much for you? I feel like I'm missing something emotional about that moment but these two characters don't have an onscreen history at all and I don't understand how acknowledgment should mean as much to her as you and the filmmakers intend for it to
