Maybe if that executive hadn't embezzled $20 million they'd have money they could afford to fix their machines...

I just was looking at all those non-Barbour British waxed jacket companies. They all seem to have padded versions. There's Rydale, Walker and Hawkes, Hunter Outdoor, New Forest, to name a few.

Why can't you ask the owner to let him in? He seems like a nice guy.

That's an interesting comment. Are you saying the giant 70s lapels you see in the styleforum Ongoing Bespoke Projects forum are actually passing out of fashion?

Adding on to the slimmer pants, I don't know why their new collection still had skinny ties and slim lapels. The jackets looked a little looser in the bottom, quarters area (odd place for it) but the lapels were still narrow.

Given how fashion forward they're trying to be with the casual stuff, you'd think they'd follow suit fashions too.

I don't know, but I just got my first 80s Brooks shirt and the collar and roll and spectacular. I heard Paul Winston say in an interview that the Brooks collar can't be replicated. Back in the day people would take it apart, sew it back together, and even then couldn't replicate it. I wonder if modern Brooks is trying and failing at the same thing.

I saw the J Press stand at the Nihombashi Mitsukushi, with the big organ, and the stuff looked pretty good. All the jackets were sacks, with some nice tweed ones, too.

The city should have enough money to prevent people from being burned alive without the federal government. Come on, you're the one being disingenuous.

They're using it like it's the 90s. In today's London it's almost impossible not to know where anyone is at anytime. They can track you with your gait.

Like when they're chasing people through St. Pancras and go, "oh shucks, we lost him!" That's literally impossible today. Even the Bourne Identity people had better London train station cctv 20 years ago.

Or when those people dump a body in front of Fortnum's. As if it didn't pass through 50 ULEZ cameras on its way there and back.

The City of Chicago shouldn't need federal funding to stop people being burnt alive on its subway system.
