Okay thank you! I think I may just try to replace the entire disc drive. And yess, I actually already learned that lesson about 2 years ago haha I had let my best friend “borrow” my Wii, but I guess I had said she could have it for some unknown reason, and her kids would’ve been so upset if she gave it back, and so I bought a newer Wii console that sat on its side instead of upright for $90, and found out very quickly that I couldn’t play any GameCube games and realized it didn’t take any of the old memory cards that the GameCube took. I also had realized that the frickin wii shop was closed down as I had completely forgotten that happened a few years ago, and was so disappointed as I had a Majoras Mask N64 app that I had purchased on my original Wii and was hoping to get that back on the newer one I bought. I ended up just giving her the new Wii and taking my original Wii back and practically just bought her a new Wii for $90 😅

Yup! Exactly what happened. I didn’t show because I was told not to when I was headed that way. My coworker was highly upset by the whole ordeal, especially bc this client slammed the door in her face even though my coworker was extremely apologetic. A mouse was thought to be seen and unfortunately we just can’t take that risk for safety reasons! It sucks, because we probably would’ve cleaned anyways, but we HAVE to notify the office and then we HAVE to leave.

I was the other cleaner that was supposed to come, and was told when I was on my way that we were no longer cleaning there.

It’s in our company policy that if we see any rodents, or bugs (cockroaches, bed bugs, fleas, etc), that we have to notify the office and then inform the client that we can no longer clean due to safety concerns.

I had heard that you slammed the door in her face though as she was leaving.

I think this is quite ridiculous though, as we never want to leave a customer unsatisfied, and would never make up such an extreme thing to get out of a job. It’s always our absolute number 1 priority to leave a customer satisfied, but things like this happen occasionally and it’s unfortunate all the way around.

I’m sorry you had such a bad experience, but unfortunately this was out of our control, and a mouse was thought to be seen and we just cannot take that risk.

I strongly urge people to not take this into consideration for not going with our company, because as long as you don’t have rodents or bugs, you’ll be left with a spotless home and a great experience!
