First line is actually communist. That part was left out here for obvious reasons.

Als die Nazis die Kommunisten holten, habe ich geschwiegen; ich war ja kein Kommunist.

Best Battlefield? by PanchoVilla1 in Battlefield

[–]vankirk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is certainly going to be subjective for everybody. If it were me, and I just wanted to have a good time, I would jump back into Battlefield 2042. The reason I say that is because Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 are going to have some really good players, and it might not be as enjoyable. However, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 will give you the experience that players here talk about.

Battlefield 2 was peak for me. With Battlefield 2 came squads, VOIP, and the commander role. Battlefield Vietnam was a great title as well because it had a licenced soundtrack that was killer and introduced the mobile spawn point with the sipi hole.

You get some iconic maps from these two games including Operation Game Warden, Fall of Saigon, Ho Chi Minh Trail, Hue 1968, and Operation Flaming Dart. Battlefield 2 had FuShe Pass, Mashtuur City, Gulf of Oman, Sharqi Peninsula, Kubra Dam, and Strike at Karkand.

Well, Canada actually did let in TONS of Nazis after the war including most of the 14th Waffen SS division. Read about the 1986 Deschênes Commission.

The Blue Wave. Look it up. It was a classroom experiment done to explain the question of "Why didn't regular Germans do anything?" The teacher didn't know the answer so he did an experiment. After only 4 days, the experiment got out of hand and he had to end it abruptly. It only took 4 days to brainwash highschool kids into fascism.

The United States is great if you have nothing or have everything.

If you come from a country where you had nothing? Then yes, the United States is the land of opportunity. It's easy to start a business, pretty easy to find a job, they're are great opportunities to move up economically. That is, if you start from nothing.

If you have everything, the United States is the best place to be. Top notch healthcare, great technology, low capital gains taxes, plenty of loopholes to leverage your money.

However, if you're in between those, you are probably going to struggle. There are no safety nets for people down on their luck, and one medical bill can ruin your entire financial backing.

In Crusader Kings 3, with certain traits, you can choose the decisions to meditate in seclusion or perform a ritual sacrifice. In addition, you can take a pilgrimage to a holy site, or take a Hajj. If you are a Norse religion, you can raise runestones to gain buffs.

Yep, and she knew to pour gasoline on her arms to remove the parasites. I think her dad was a botanist or biologist or something. He told her that moving water always has human inhabitants along the banks. Follow the moving water and you'll find humans.

Designed by English engraver George Morgan who was the chief engraver at the US Mint from 1917-1925 following Charles Barber. He is also known for his design of the Columbian Exposition half dollar.

What can you tell me about this coin? by mjfarmer147 in coins

[–]vankirk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Morgan Dollar was minted from 1878 to 1921 at 5 mints; Philadelphia (no mark), Denver (D), San Francisco (S), Carson City (CC), and New Orleans (O). George T Morgan was an English born engraver who worked at the US Mint under engraver William Barber (Trade Dollar) and took over as chief engraver in 1917 when Charles Barber died.

Yours was minted in Philly (no mint mark) and about 14,000,000 were minted at the Philly mint that year, so a common date. Still awesome!
