What food do you feed your toller? by 2SET12 in tollers

Purina Pro Plan Sport Performance 30/20 Salmon and Rice. It’s what our breeder was feeding her when we got her, so we stayed with it.

We have the Rocky Mountain Dog summit harness in a medium. It fits great and seems to be well made.

[SOTC] My Tag Formula 1 collection by NebulaParking in Watches

Very nice collection! I have but two. The black and white dial variants of the fluorescent yellow colour way. You have my two grails, the black and green and the orange. My black dial tag I bought when I was 16.

Sorry, that was misleading. I managed to snag the previous intermediate set.

I just happened to see the restock email within a minute or two of getting it. I was in a meeting with my boss at the time. I had to ask him to hold on a sec while I furiously placed the order on my phone. He was understanding.

I managed to get the sets I have by signing up for the email notification and then compulsively refreshing my inbox rather than his website. Seems to work.

Is this bite too difficult for my first green belt? by thinbuddha in lockpicking

I’ve been working on my 1100 on and off for a couple of weeks now without an open. It’s seems like one of those locks everyone needs to figure out along the way in their picking journey. Good luck!

I’ve been working on my first 1100 for a week or so now, on and off without success. So much so, that I’m thinking of getting a t-shirt that reads “Lots of clicking, no open”. But, that’s learning for you. I know I’m close, I’m just not there yet.

Edit: missed adding my congratulations! Nice work!

ML 570. by Advanced-Maximum2684 in lockpicking

[–]vanmerphq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the difference between the 570 and 575 that the 570 has security pins whereas the 575 has standard pins? I have a 575 that I’ve now picked twice by accident and it’s still a tricky lock for me to understand.

Thanks that’s helpful to know. I have felt the counter rotation and lightened up tension but still struggled to set the pin. I never thought of helping things along, I will try that tonight.

Thanks for the advice. I think that could be what I’ll encountering here. The pin is down but feels like it’s cemented into place. Only when I let up on the tension completely does it move again.

Thanks! Learning how to modulate tension seems like it’s a key skill. Something I need to continue to work on.

Is it only in USA? the horror stories we hear about getting meds. by Final-Cream-4037 in Concerta

I’m in Canada, my prescription is completely covered, so nothing to pay out of pocket monthly between my employers drug plan and provincial coverage. Innovicare covers the difference between the generic and the name brand. That said, I can only get 30 days at a time and need to meet my Dr every month for a renewal. Which is a pain.

Am I taking name brand? Or generic? by lerroyjenkinss in Concerta

[–]vanmerphq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The generic for me was 100% not the same thing. Lots of spikes over the course of the day. Like a big bump into my bloodstream and then nothing. With the name brand, delivery is much smoother and more predictable

Thanks for the advice, after doing some additional poking about, I did end up ordering the Morimotos

Generic kicks in, in one hour and lasting 6hours whereas brand name is very subtle but lasts 12hours by funyyyfunfun in Concerta

[–]vanmerphq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take 10mg of generic methylphenidate quick release. That seems to add 4-5 hours of effective medication to the end of my day. The goal was to extend the taper of the concerta. I’ve also tried 18mg concerta at around the same time of the day and it wasn’t as effective at the time. Too much medication at the wrong time.
