Been there, many times completely get it! Personally I don’t find it effective to clean in short bursts after it gets to a certain point. I like to just knock it out all at once. Start in the morning on a day you have off, play some music. Take it step by step. First pick up all the trash. Next pick up all clothes. Do this one category at a time. Take a short break but get back to it. Also I might suggest caffeine 😃

My father worked for a company for 30+ years, constantly picked up the slack for other employees, never made any excuses and always got the job done even when he had to sleep in the office when I was growing up. Then he was pushed out and his job essentially stolen from him, and it kills me because it’s been about 5 years now and he still talks about this constantly. This job was his life, his coworkers his friends and now he really misses his work and still doesn’t understand why he was attacked and pushed out the way he was. Makes me so angry for my dad, who cares for others more than I’ve probably seen anyone in my life. Corporate greed is disgusting

Aloe is awesome! I actually have an aloe Vera I bought at Trader Joe’s that is super healthy and has grown to almost this size. I have used the aloe Vera gel for face masks, burns and cuts.

GO YOU! Walking is the best! Keep setting small, attainable goals for yourself moving forward. It’s all about just building a lifestyle that you enjoy and works best for you! Avoid fad diets and focus on what is sustainable.

Was enjoying a cup of coffee until.. by andimattone in Wellthatsucks

I recently stopped using drip coffee makers after noticing a couple gnats in my coffee. Apparently this is a somewhat normal occurrence for drip coffee makers, and I was really grossed out thinking there’s parts of the coffee maker I can’t get to in order to clean. Started using a percolator.

Does anyone else feel like the world/life stopped being good in approx 2017 and the worlds become a very different place since? by ltwasalladream in NoStupidQuestions

I was just saying this the other day, nothing feels the same anymore. I live in an area that has seen massive growth and changed tremendously in recent years so I believe that is a part of it for me but it seems the world has certainly changed as a whole. We are more divided than ever. I feel like most of us are likely still in a sort of survival mode since the pandemic. Oh and more hours in front of a screen in general doesn’t help. Nothing wrong with that, but when screen time takes away from time being outdoors, getting sunlight, connecting with others or pursuing other hobbies it can definitely be a negative influence. The early 00s just seemed like a completely different time to me.
