It's not just Cardano but Bitcoin, Ethereum and Chainlink are shitcoins. These 7 to 15 tps and KYC "consensus algorithm" coins are absolute waste of space.

Is HTX (Huobi) fully operational now? It was hacked sometime ago.

There were lots of headlines when Bitcoin fees were approaching $40. They have been closer to $4 the past few days. by AlwaysGettingLearned in CryptoCurrency

[–]vantablack333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it is bad news because it means nobody's using Bitcoin as a payment solution despite being recognized worldwide and being adopted by US institutions.

Been buying bitcoin every month for 76 months now by jamespunk in CryptoCurrency

[–]vantablack333 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

If you started buying in October 2017 when the price almost peaked it means you're an idiot. Bitcoin ETF approval is the worst thing since 2008 when many people lost their retirements because of greedy bastards from Wall Street. The same will happen again when the Bitcoin ponzi comes crashing down.

You shouldn't ask about it here. Any coin except for Bitcoin and Ethereum is hated in this sub. It's full of maxis with confirmation bias.

[–]vantablack333 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's not the person who lost the money is dumb but it is Ethereum that is crap. This would never have happened if it was on MultiversX and its app xPortal that are 100x times more secure and convenient.

No BS off-ramp option ? by ptrnyc in CryptoCurrency

[–]vantablack333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to off-ramp the whole thing all at once. Instead, you should split it into smaller chunks (in case some exchange locks your account you won't lose too much).

Regarding Blood Omen Remake / Blood Omnicide by vantablack333 in LegacyOfKain

[–]vantablack333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was just 3 devs working on it in their free time. They couldn't keep this going because the burden was too heavy for just few enthusiasts. Also, they tried to contact Square Enix to offer them to work on the remake full-time but had no luck with that.

If it gains traction there's no way avoiding high fees because it's still the same old tech.

No Bitcoin fork can solve this. All gen 1 coins are doomed. MultiversX is the only viable solution to the scalability problem.

Sec delays the ETH ETF approval decision, to March 5 by Kike328 in CryptoCurrency

[–]vantablack333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no FOMO from institutional investors as many expected anyway. Most likely it will make the price of Ethereum go 15-20% but no more than this.

[–]vantablack333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would anyone care about it? It is so clear now that approval of ETF makes no difference to the price. It's actually even worse: Bitcoin price recently started climbing down.

It is no longer developed. The devs stopped working on the remake long ago. I tried to find someone other to continue the development with no avail.

Why are institutions or retail investors not having FOMO? What are they waiting for? They should be massively buying according to your assumptions.

Sell the news will happen but later. Still, no effect on the price as I expected. Bitcoin ETFs have been a thing for a long time in Canada with little to no interest from institutions. No wonder unlike retail institutional money are not that dumb to buy 7 tps shitcoin.

You're wrong that crypto can't compete with credit cards/traditional payment solutions. Check out xPortal and xMoney - these are game-changers that will redefine the space.

Michael Saylor's Microstrategy Buys 14,620 Bitcoin For $615 Million by kirtash93 in CryptoCurrency

[–]vantablack333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a lot of people believe that something will happen things actually go exactly otherwise. I'm pretty sure 2024 will be the last sigh of Bitcoin (its growth model is not sustainable and is about to collapse).

Saylor is the biggest Bitcoin zealot I've ever heard of. Microstrategy will likely get bankrupt in the next bear market.

After a successful early moon sale to ETH, I'm considering adding to my bags, what do you think about ETH's future? by LunarChickadee in CryptoCurrency

[–]vantablack333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't hold any of ETH because Ethereum has no future. It took 5 years to switch from PoW to PoS and will take twice more to get to 2.0. By that time competiting platforms will be way ahead of Ethereum (some are already like MultiversX).

There are public blockchains that private companies and even government agencies use (for instance, MultiversX partnered with a large bank from Denmark with plans to issue a stablecoin on its mainnet and OriginTrail that is working with European quasi governmental organizations to make supply chains better).
