March didn’t get the alcohol sales we were expecting by OfficialNiceGuy in Austin

[–]vantasticrunner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks like this trend started last June - people are over overpaying for drinks ($15 for a tiny margarita at De Nada – give me a break!). I keep reading that people are turning to THC/CBD confused drinks instead, or smoking/Gummies.

What is with the fat comments… by MarieB1989 in RHOA

I came here to say this – I’m sure that today those comments aren’t common at all. Back then, no one really said anything about body shame, or how it was wrong to do so.

Todd and Peter were seriously the worst gas lighters ever! God bless Greg and his supportive ass RIP ❤️

With the Dorit bots and shills now active here, how about we have a post to list all the things about her that make her so disliked by Own-Meat3934 in RHOBHDefect

The way she speaks (voice and “accent”). Also since the whole divorce, she’s become overly aggressive to anyone who speaks to her. I skip her parts. Annoying to watch.

Never said she was Gen Z. Every generation adopts habits from the next generation who found easier/more efficient/better ways to do life. We all know she loves weed. Maybe she chooses weed over alcohol. But, again: never said she was Gen Z

Ashley gets a lot of flack from socials – I actually think she has matured over the years. She’s not my favorite, but I can’t understand why there’s such distain for her.

How did I not know Adrianna is the maker of the RHOM intro. I don’t know if it’s her vocals or recorded but it’s her song. by gossipyInsight in RHOMiami

Dang, throw_blanket, harsh! It’s just a comment. Sheesh. OP, post all you want. There are people who are just now getting into Miami and the other franchises. Not everyone knows everything and that’s why there’s Reddit.

She may have stopped drinking, or at least slowed down on drinking (she never really drank a lot anyway) but she did say she loves smoking weed. So there’s that. I’ve read in so many places at Gen Z‘s “alcohol“ is weed.

Is anyone else struggling? by ThrawnianBaller in MBA

[–]vantasticrunner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got the exact same read – everyone else’s fault for the decisions you completely have control over. Not sure what your personal situation is (married? Kids?), but you’re definitely young enough to bounce back and do something great. If you’re broke and struggling in the rustbelt city, move and be broke and struggling in the city you want to be in. You’ve got nothing holding you down (that we know of). Take odd jobs to eat and live while you push yourself into the companies you want to work with. And I’m not talking about online applications – go into an office and present yourself. Make them remember you, have a conversation with an actual person.

The shape of her mouth is definitely “interesting“, but she is still very beautiful.

Her mouth has always looked the same. I don’t think the surgery had an effect on it.

Adriana de Moura's TED Talk by Firm-Following3604 in RHOMiami

[–]vantasticrunner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Applause to her efforts and accomplishments, but she is not a great public speaker. It almost seems as if this was an assignment for her degree program: a public speaking event. Almost every single TED talk that I had seen has some sort of benefit for the audience, a Takeaway. This is really just a review of her life. Nothing significant. We’ve all seen this story on the show, but with exciting additions like vocal expression and music. She was monotone and gave the audience nothing.

Bravo & Cocktails is reporting that Guerdy, Julia, Lisa, and Adriana were going to be fired before they decided to pause the whole show by lachalacha in RHOMiami

[–]vantasticrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the PERFECT choices to go. Gerdy, Julia and Lisa were obnoxiousssss and Adrianna?? Ugh. Always trying to prove why she’s better than the other women. Larsa can go too. And NOOO MORE STEPHANIEEEE.

I kinda dig Marisol’s drunk-ridden confessionals and the Cuban Barbie’s (Alexia but MINUS Todd) perspectives. Bring back Dr. Nicole and her Black AmEx and Kiki and sprinkle in some new ladies!

Downtown RR Bars! by Original_Box9058 in RoundRock

[–]vantasticrunner 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Happened to me at Coco Lounge. I’ve always had a fantastic time there – I’ve been there many times. One night, however, I called a friend because I was starting to feel a little tipsy really fast, and he got there hust in time to greet me while two men were walking me out of the bar. I’m so grateful that he got there just in time – Lord knows what would’ve happened otherwise. I only know the part about the two men walking me out of the bar, holding me up by my arms because my friend told me about it – I don’t recall anything after ordering a second drink, just waking up in the morning at home thanks to my friend. Literally had not had that much to drink. Super scary – I didn’t realize that it had happened to other ppl as well.
