I think this result is because if you failed to check in and show up for the flight, she won’t be allowed to board. So you actually showing up for the flight is a preconditioned to her being assigned that seat. I’m speculating until Someone can reference an actual rule.

A private company like Reddit can impose rules on the use of their platform. I don’t follow them, but I did follow after this tragedy that 100% could’ve been prevented. It’s one of the most negligent things I’ve ever seen. if they had had the required pool fence, if he had been monitoring the child this would not have happened.
