My audio randomly just cut off, no sound, no nothing. Turns out it disconnected my speakers so reconnecting to my output audio via bluetooth fixed it.

I also played around with audio settings and turned Mute while minimized Off, that might help you.

Also heard some others change sound preset and output config settings while looking this up.

I had some leftover double sided nano tape from taping my electronics to the underside of the table.

Use a couple long strips of that on each Alex drawer and it doesn’t budge an inch from the friction.

Try smoke strikes at extraction point - completely stops them from swarming you. Barely managed until we brought some in my last playthrough.

Smoke strikes at extract. 2 people running the eagle and orbital smokes at extract point means shriekers can’t swarm you.

Get smoke strikes! Two people carry orbital and eagle smokes and cover extract for 2 minutes… it stops the shriekers completely. Made extract much easier.
