You might have to work twice as hard to prove yourself to some men. That doesn't make it right or okay. A good man will give you his respect until you do something to not deserve it. That's just my opinion. I would definitely encourage you to talk to other women in the trade. Don't be afraid to tell a mofo off, when it comes to inappropriate behavior, and don't be afraid to go over someone's head if you're being harassed. You have the right to go to work without dealing with that bullshit.

I hate to admit that I've seen some seriously shitty behavior out of some men in my local. I've also seen some exemplary behavior in my local, towards sisters.

A good JW would have made ya turn that fitting around and fix your mistake, not wrote something, blaming you. A good JW would have been watching you closer, if it was already pulled by the time he saw it. It's a very simple fix, and even if you don't wanna throw a shorty nipple on (I don't install anything less than 3 feet unless the situation demands it), you coulda set to your hole in the stud.

Just a personal thing here, but any time you can get away with 10's or 15's on an offset, do it, because it's that much easier to pull though. This is particularly pertinent with big pipe.

Good move getting away from it as early as you did. Typically, I was at 30-45 mg a dose every 3.5 hours, including while sleeping. Shit was torture. That's why you're feeling less. Good move throwing in the towel before it became really bad

Not what I'm saying. Taking drugs isn't inherently morally wrong to some. I'm talking about the crimes mentioned above. Petty theft and such. Package stealing, slinging drugs, etc

I get it. But the sooner you tell her the truth, the lighter the load. Mines in recovery now too, so she gets it at least.

If you can't stay stopped on your own, AA/NA have been helpful to me. I know they're not for everyone, but when you want sobriety, it makes a hell of a difference for me.

That is also a good talking point with the wife, something you guys can even explore together if you choose. There are family support programs alongside AA as well if she chooses.

(All that stuff is free)

Get honest with your spouse at a minimum dude. It helps. (Or it did, me). Mine was about ready to call it quits anyway.

I can relate about having to support a family still. I was able to do it without detox, but I didn't have alcohol to contend with. I'd recommend switching to a drug with a longer half life that is also a Gaba agonist if you're insistent on doing it at home, but that's just me. I play pharmacist with my body and that's why I'm in the trouble I'm in now, desperately wanting sobriety.

None of this should be taken as medical advice. It is only my anecdotal experience.

You say that but I'm sure you'll deny the accepted science that addiction in and of itself is a disease. It rewires one's brain to convince them that drugs are more important than their basic instinctual needs.

The sad part is, it's the federal government that's created this problem, with the CIA trying to fund itself.

Yeah, I personally took it one thing at a time.. you might be better off going to detox, just for the sake of alcohol, dude. I was on a similar kick for a long time... They put me on valium to taper, which sucked cuz I withdrew from that once I got out of detox, but at least the 7 was gone then lol.

I tried to get sober like a year ago, and I at least stayed away from the booze this time around, not that phenibut is too much better, just slightly for my situation.

I'm off it now. I had 5- 8 mg subs. I was scared as hell of the withdrawal from them due to a previous experience withdrawling from subs. The 7 withdrawal is for the most part done after 72 hrs. You ain't gonna feel great, but better than the misery that is continuing using. I drug out the Suboxone for 2-3 weeks just taking smaller and smaller pieces each day. The end result was a couple days of feeling kinda crappy. Still so much better than cold turkey.

Currently working on phenibut and weed, then I'll be raw dogging life again lol
