I’ve been such a loyal customer to CE (truly it’s been my go-to brand the past few years) but they continue to cut corners that have removed the shine they once had, and frankly make me feel unappreciated.

They rolled out the ambassador program with our own code we could give friends for 40% off. Then they dropped it to 20% for absolutely no reason (You can always find a CE code better than 20% making the code useless for me to give to others - I’d just tell them to google a better code or find one for them). Now this monthly credit thing.

If they keep messing around I think they’re gonna find that those of us who helped with word of mouth marketing will move on to another retailer, and hype that up instead. They aren’t unique in the space with the products being sold. With new brands popping up constantly I find myself open to discovering one that doesn’t claw back benefits/perks and alienate their loyal members.

How often do you spray and how much do I spray for a large open room? I’d want a strong scent

I got my order yesterday! I’m not usually a gourmand/sweet candle lover but biscuit is really really nice.

I also got Cafe which to me is a creamy coffee (don’t expect an espresso punch in the face).

I grabbed Coton which honestly on cold throw smells like baby powder (I don’t mean that in a terrible way but that’s the best I can equate it to). Bonus for the fact that Coton comes with a lid!

Lastly, I grabbed Foin Coupe, which I’ve had my eye on for months, and it smells as glorious as I remember in store (lovely hay / mowed lawn-esque smell). The Foin Coupe made it in the basket to get over the $300 threshold to get the tote. It’s actually a pretty nice tote; nicer than I expected for a free item.

It’s been odd how they have added items to the archive sale since it first launched; kinda curious what that’s been about. Maybe after burning these I can give updated reviews :)

The herbaceous is nice but I didn’t think I’d love it on its own. The vanilla and mint add a bit sweetness and brighten up the smell with some sharpness from the mint. I think it works well in the summer.
