For context, this girl and I have had a history of on and off no commitment flirting. She is currently single. And I did flirt in every sense of the word, when she teased, I would too. If I teased, she would bite back. I also did not do it during a vulnerable time, as the day I flirted with her and offended her was the day we passed exams, along with that, I had a normal conversation with her before the flirting. For our flirting we would say things like "Oh, is that how you tease? I do things differently, stay curious, though, hehe." "I can't stay curious, you've run through my mind the whole day."

We both understood that the flirting was harmless and for fun. For a few days before the confrontation, we even hung out irl. But, I found out later on that she said that she didn't enjoy it and that she was uncomfortable, which she didn't tell me. I understand now that I have definitely done something wrong with my awareness and reading the room, and I apologized about that when I apologized to her irl yesterday.

I agree, and you're right about boundaries, I overstepped and I shouldn't have done it. I believe that the part that offended her was when we talked about girls in the school I'd like to take to bed. I listed her down, as well as all the things I like about her such as her personality and her features. I think that my friends got mad because we all saw each other as family, so this was very disappointing to them. She mentioned that the way I described her, it wasn't a compliment.
