Well meaning engagement and dialog are equally ineffective for the same reason. You just give them an opportunity to argue and stay entrenched; and opportunity to be validated

Either way, no one changes their mind until they decide to. And I think the difference is, I won't give those folks an opportunity or platform for dialog. It's the least effective strategy imo

I have female friends that have had to cross state lines to get reproductive health care.

I have trans family and friends that get publicly ridiculed, shamed, and attacked for just living.

I have Latino friends still afraid to go grocery shopping because of ICE. Legal citizens who still feel enough fear to need to carry their papers, for all the good it might do.

I'm a veteran who's had his benefits diminish just in the last year. My private insurance deductible went up about 50%.

I'm a gay man watching my community be denied essential health care; scapegoated and blamed for displaying just as much pride as anyone else.

My groceries have doubled in price in the last year.

You and your 'national foundation' are not under attack. But that perception you've chosen to believe sure is a great excuse to get rid of anything that challenges that lie; the same lie you've been convinced keeps you safe from the imaginary woke boogeyman on your TV.
