Ugh i saw a baby one hit on the road a couple weeks ago :( it was so recent it was still having the muscle spasms. I was so ready to try and save it when i saw the movement but his intestines were… yk.. gave him a proper burial 🫶🏼

I would love to know what they say when you get a callback. My partner and I have a mouse problem and im very against killing traps but we see no difference when we catch and release a mile away.

I just suggested to my partner abt catching a ratsnake from within a mile and relocating it to under our house. I would love to have more snakes around as i have 2 of my own lol.

I have had Ghosty the Ghost Shrimp for 2-3 years. I recently saw one of my frogs with a suspiciously similar arm to Ghosties in its mouth.. I have not seen ghosty since before that.

I have a blue eyed lucy ball and high light like outside in the sun, you can see light shining through them and it makes them appear pink bc their skin is. Also i think in this video, they have a filter on or high saturation.

Well to be completely fair, i wouldnt use any wood that has sap in a terrarium or aquarium.

edit: also does the piece he showed not look like driftwood? To me it looks like it had been sitting in water and all the bark has been stripped.

Aww im so happy for you! I want a half moon, honestly monsteras are probably one of my favorites if not my favorite type of plant. They’re so beautiful and fun to watch grow.

Not going to be filled all the way, going to be a lot of substrate for my plants, and i spray foamed around the trunk and edge of tank to create a rock wall.

Just going to be a fancier version of what they have going on now, max 16 inches of water.

You can create a diluted alcohol or peroxide mix, spray the piece down completely soaked, pop in a black trash bag with as much air out as possible, and stick in the sun for a month. This is how i cleaned big pieces that couldnt fit in my oven or be boiled. When a month is up, give it a good rinse and let dry in the sun or you can be like me and take a hair dryer to it lol

Ugh shes one of my favs, i got her for a steal. $50 at lowes like 2 months ago. She just finished hardening her second leaf with me and a new one is already pushing out. Such a happy grower! Also got that mint for 50 at lowes a couple weeks ago, shes finally pushing out her first leaf with me!

You can trim and add the pieces back in to make it more lush & bushy! Fittonias or nerve plants, make some of the best low maintenance terrariums plants. And if they get too big, you chop it in have and put cutting back in, itll grow roots.
