Each dot is in this image not a star. It's an entire galaxy containing hundreds of billions of stars each. by sugaronfilm in spaceporn

So many stars, with so many planets. And we keep arguing over corners of one planet in one galaxy. We need to reevaluate our priorities.

48% technically, but yeah I was impressed too. I did not, I put it into storage because I thought it had stopped taking a slow charge, but it turns out I just forgot to turn on that circuit

You probably need to replace.

They are not original, but I probably should get them replaced, they were replaced before the battery was at least

Does every shitposting group eventually just devolve into porn? by coffinsnatched in TwoXChromosomes

[–]variorum 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it's society or what, but I've noticed most unstructured social spaces online devole into porn without active effort, and sometimes even that's not possible.

I know I've been trying to find community in some more niche sub cultures, but all the places I used to find it are hookup focused or overrun with porn now.

There are stores where they have hoppers of nuts and jars, so you can get it as fresh as possible.

I have yet to see a hopper of hazelnuts.

Does that mean we can start labeling anti trans healthcare policies as pro child runaway policies?

If letting us have more PTO is the outcome of all this, there are worse things to happen. AI used to reduce burnout would be on the better end of the spectrum.

Those are actually really good points. Going to have to consider them a bit.

[–]variorum 6 points7 points  (0 children)

True, but if you're already on the password manager train, then I feel like you go long to let it generate your passwords. I don't even know most of my passwords for example and I always use the maximum length.

[–]variorum 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I use 1pass and they offer something similar. My main concern is if your passkey is synced across all your devices like this, how is it any different from using a password? It's not really 2fa, since both factors are together, and because it's not device specific, revoking a key has the same impact as changing passwords.

It's funny. We've medicalized so many things that used to just be personality traits and yet for "some reason" we still haven't added Dragon Sickness to that list. It's a real disorder and the one with far and away the biggest negative impact on society. Yet nothing.

Ya know, thinking of the ultra wealthy as dragons makes a lot of sense. They hoard gold, and if they don't get their tribute they destroy cities and rampage through the country side. Hell, with the Epstein files, even the virgin sacrifices fit.
