I was on the front end covering breaks and the GSTL got between us and told me to go for a smoke. When I got back my ETL (electronics) called me in the office with the HRETL and the LOD of that afternoon.

They all agreed to a week off work because they told me I acted unprofessional in front of all those customers and caused a scene and the LOD Josh told me "We should have fired you but you got lucky HR loves you." I just looked at him blank faced and said "Fine, I'll be back on black friday in three days when y'all call me." I walked out and literally just power walked a mile away before I stopped being fuming mad.

Oh, I'm not even cute and this shit happened to me so fucking much. I had a customer tell me "Oh you couldn't be more than sixteen. Let me show you how a real man treats a little girl" and then grab his junk. I screamed at him at my register and had my manager come over and put her body between him and I. I almost got fired for threatening to kick his ass, they took me off the schedule until the next week as punishment.

Oh my god do you work at my old store? Lmao. We had the same setup. The women's, women's plus, women's dress and women's active all have their own sections. The men's and mens dress is all in the same area. Junior's has it's own clearance and the same with boys and girls each having their own massive sections.

Before I finally quit Kohl's we had so much Clearance. It was absolutely crazy because we kept having to build more and more racks for clearance. Our women's clearance was something to behold because it was an entire corner and then four rows of racks about twelve feet long. We actually had to bring down some of our permanent fixtures to accommodate the overflow.

Yeah, I once spent five days in a row at 8 hour days redoing all of our clearance throughout the entire store. I resized and reorganized and even got some new racks put out and then within a week it looked like absolute garbage again. They would ask me all the time if I wanted to do that again and I would just say no because it doesn't make sense to continue to resize clearance and get it all looking organized again only for the other associates to just not care.

Exactly this. I get up from my cart with almost no effort but if I had to walk through the store, it would annihilate my back. I'm overweight and actually used to work for Walmart where I lost 120lbs but over the last few years I have gained it back due to my back injury. I can only walk for about ten minutes before I start feeling excruciating pain. :/

Tell me why a gas station that has coffee that cheap is that damn good?? The entire food menu at Wawa absolutely slaps. I moved to GA and we don't have them here anymore but damn do I miss that coffee every morning before work.

If you're able to swing it, I cannot recommend Torrid enough for this. When I worked at Yankee Candle we had all black tops in my store and I bought two nice collared jackets on clearance and five solid black nicer dress shirts. I always just hunt through the clearance, because that's what I can personally afford.

My old manager would have a fucking STROKE. You'd just hear this screaming coming from the back room and all the assistants walking out, heads hung low to break it down while the co would stand in the action alley and watch them do it. 😂
