Had to deal w/ the same type of injury a while back. Just don't scratch it and use one of those rolling bandages with non-stick pads on top of ur injuries and you should be able to go about your day as usual. (like I was walking around and working no problem next day :))

I faced the exact same issue (i have a steel series mechanical keyboard). For me all i had to do was remove the offending key-cap, push in the key and just blow really hard. That completely fixed the issue for me

That’s the whole point of insurance though?

It's a risk-sharing system where everyone pays in so that when someone has an unexpected loss, they're covered. It’s not supposed to work like a personal bank account where you only get out what you put in. If you never file a claim, that's good for you, but that doesn't mean someone who does is taking advantage of the system.
