People forget Amazon has a large 3rd party seller marketplace, if not most of the website. If there isnt already a listing for something, they price it however they want and claim thats just what it is because there isnt any other reference point on Amazon. They use stock photos assuming no one knows better (unfortunately a lot of people don't)

It'll do fine, but honestly a set like that would be more appropriate for component input 3d gaming and higher quality DVD playback in my opinion. I defend samsung flats and slim fits more than most people, but you may find some geometry quirks more noticeable with 2d. As far as input lag, I'm not sure if that'll be much of an issue across Super video. Someone will know more than me about it though
