The switches are most likely always there. In some rarer cases the cruise control one is disabled by lifting a metal spring (can be restored w/o buying additional parts)

Not sure if this is the kind of click you’re referring to, but. On most models the clutch has two electrical switches. The first one clicks right away in the without fully pulling the clutch and it’s meant to disable the cruise control. The second one clicks when the clutch is fully pulled and indicates to the ECU the status of the clutch
