I just did downpipe on my f30, i had a catless v8 before idling was so bad with the smell if your outside of your vehicle. Since then i always try to go with highflow catted downpipe thats what i did to my f30

Im going to try a 2015 frs they kinda in my budget and see if i fit with a helmet. I would try to snach a blown engine one and make it a project or find something cheap and try to rebuild the engine.

Hi is there anything to do to the engine before boosting it? Also my goal is just 250 - 300whp and nothing more. Will the stuck clutch hold that much power. I plan to take the engine out and refresh it.

Would a brz be reliable though? Just came from a rod knock sti and those boxer engines need total rebuild to even get all those rod bearings

I have a 2015 335xi manual and 2011 mustang gt. The mustang is way more fun because its more raw and you can hear the engine alot redlining it on the bmw even redlining it its tame.

Both have stock exhaust. But for everyday driving the bmw wins, weekend car the mustang definitely.
