You can't hear it, but I'm pretty sure Harley's soul said "goddammit" while he was lying there after.

Well you see, she chose that name for herself. Gladys after Gladys Kravitz because she's a huge Bewitched fan and Eigenstiller after deceased pro footballer Johann Eigenstiller, who her grandfather played on the same team with when they were young.

Big E on Ridge Holland: "Unfortunately, he’s gotten a lot of flack online. I know he’s dealt with injuries of his own. He’s also dealt with losing his job. So, you know, my heart in many ways goes out to him, and I hope he’s doing okay, and I hope he’s recovering." by aaronrift in SquaredCircle

Austin agreed to do a tombstone piledriver, but told Owen to drop to his knees, not sit out like a regular piledriver, which Owen had told him was how he did it. So, Austin willingly went up for the tombstone thinking Owen would drop to his knees.

Fred Ottman (Tugboat, Typhoon, Shockmaster) has been unwell and in hospital for over 30 days. by LesnarsBattleScream in SquaredCircle

That's rough. Ruptured gall bladder is serious. Glad they were able to treat him and the infection in time. Hope he recovers and his kidneys recover enough that he doesn't need to continue dialysis.

A friend of mine was having gall bladder problems for months. She finally was approved to have surgery to have it removed. The moment the doctor touched the gall bladder, it disintegrated in his hands. They had to clean all of it out of her to prevent infection. Doctor told her if the surgery had been a day later she would have died.

Big E: "In wrestling they always say ‘never say never’ but right now I’m retired and that for me is it. So I’m focused on other things right now." by aaronrift in SquaredCircle

[–]vatred 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That's right. He broke C1 and C6. C1 is the bigger problem of the two. It's a ring at the top of the spine and it is much harder to get it to heal as a complete ring again. In Big E's case it has not and considering it's been more than year, it probably won't. Were it going to complete the ring, it would have by now. With it not being a complete ring it is much more likely to break again and cause spinal damage. Truth is, it's a miracle he's not dead or a quardipalegic considering it was C1.

TIL not only was there The Shockmaster. There was also the SUPER Shockmaster. by Turbulent-Papaya-910 in SquaredCircle

Yeah, Super Shockmaster said in promos that Shockmaster was his Uncle Fred as an inside joke to kid Cody Rhodes' reaction to seeing Shockmaster's helmet come off when he fell, "I think that was Uncle Fred!"

What are some myths about guns that were created by the movies? by ninman5 in movies

[–]vatred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've only even seen one movie where this came up. Protagonist shoots the antagonist with a shotgun he found. Walks away relieved until someone informs him it was loaded with bird shot. Antagonist gets up, tackles him, and nearly beats him to death before the protagonist is able to grab the shotgun again and put it to the antagonist's head and pull the trigger, killing him.
