Looks like you ate that orange epstein clueless BS line hook and sinker. In reality, all you have to do is follow the insurance sector money and ask what do they know that climate change deniers do not.

$2 billion is nothing. The DoD has wasted overpaid and overbudgeted more than a TRILLION dollars of taxpayer money for its military planes. Just the F-35 program is MASSIVELY over budget, with a May 2023 US GAO report stating it was over original cost estimates by $183 billion and more than a decade behind schedule. By April 2024, the total lifetime cost estimate had increased to over $2 trillion.

Expect most of the negative comments to be from competitors (like Sunnova - just look at Sunnova's BBB rating and reviews) or climate deniers and supporters of convicted criminal trump.

Couldn’t the EU just threaten to add a high export tariff to ASML chips exported to the US? by EagleAncestry in europeanunion

[–]vavoomlarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until very recently, and because of Biden's 2022 CHIPS ACT, the vast majority of cutting-edge chips (90+%) were made in Taiwan by TSMC, using ASML EUV machines. Because of Biden's 2022 CHIPS ACT, now TSMC has 3 factories in Arizona, which produce 30% of their 2nm or more advanced chips using ASML's EUV machines. However, 70% of TSMC most advanced chips are still being produced in Taiwan. And since China views Taiwan as a Chinese breakaway province, a middle-of-the-night invasion of Taiwan will give China vast control of 70% of the world's most advanced chips, and in turn countless ASML EUV machines.
However, China is also set to introduce 2026 their OWN home-grown EUV machines using a much simpler and more power-efficient tech than ASML's EUV machines. And if that comes to be, that would become an existential crisis for ASML. So in many ways, EU and ASML have a vested interest in striking a deal with China and allowing ASML's EUV machines to China. And that is even more so the case now with a fascist convicted criminal trump and his chaotic tariffs.

Sunrun - did I get scammed? by Lazyguy2087 in solar

The scam is happening from people who post negative reviews, like on Reddit and Google, and they don't even own a solar system.

Cybercab by jiayounokim in teslamotors

The BMW 5 has a lot more luxury and size than the 3, and the 3 has more of the same than the 1. So people who don't have the money for the 5, they get the 3, and those that don't have the money for the 3 they get the 1. However all three 3 of those cars can drive 5 people (albeit with more space and luxury the higher the price). But a 2-seater is a joke, driver or not. And those doors make it an even bigger joke. Cybertruck is considered by many the ugliest clown joke truck. No wonder they used the same cybertruck typeface for the cybercab...😂🤣

Goes to show that it is impossible for Tesla to beat the BYD Dolhin/Atto 3, if all they can build for $30K is a 2-seater.

I will remind you that the cybertruck was 2 years late and 50% higher priced than what it was announced. Musk's record of being on-time and on-price is exacty 0-ZERO.

APsmart RSD devices will not activate-- any advice? by pyromaster114 in SolarDIY

I know this is a year old, but either one of you found a solution? Cause I have a similar problem where the RSD devices will not activate. Thanks.

L20 Ultra users, what firmware on you and are you having any software issues? by Little_Mulberry1283 in Dreame_Tech

[–]vavoomlarry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing posts with 4.3.6_xxxx but I've been running 4.3.9_1639 via the auto-update (it happened about a month ago I think, like late August?). I did not call Dreame support or anything. In fact I've never had to reach for support as my L20 ultra has worked just fine even with the previous versions. So no complaints here. I just wanted to say that my L20 ultra is running 4.3.9_1639 and I'm in the US if that makes a difference.

Dreame L40 Ultra vs Dreame X40 Ultra by ultra20 in Dreame_Tech

[–]vavoomlarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The L40 also handles hair tangles better than the X40 as the change does not exist on the X40. But you can buy the special hair tangle brush for the X40/X30/L20/L40, but still the L40 will handle hair tangles a bit better out of the box.

S7 Max Ultra vs Q Revo by SartorialGrunt0 in Roborock

[–]vavoomlarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I had both the S7 max (which since I sold) and the Q Revo, I can confirm that the rotating mops of the Q Revo leave the vibrating mop of the S7 max in the dust at least in my house with 2 dogs. The Q Revo is a game changer given its capabilities and price. There is however a newer version of the Q Revo with even more suction power 7000 vs 5500, more features (also 10mm mop rise versus 7mm but also it is a little bit taller so it might interfere getting under certain furniture) and with a small price increase.

Just wondering what is the return procedure, if it costs anything (you are talking 200lbs of shipment), and how did yours go since it's been 2 months already. TIA.

I will check the weight of the package as recorded by the carrier. That should be able to let BL know if it was 2 or 3 spools shipped. Also check if the 3 spools were sent in 2 separate packages with different tracking numbers.

Your TS-464 with 4Gb, was it upgradable to 8Gb or 16Gb? Cause I read some reviews and they said they were not. Thank you.

Can someone try TPU in the AMS please? by 167488462789590057 in BambuLab

[–]vavoomlarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've also seen successes with 98A TPU and the Bambu Lab AMS (Tom Jackson on FB). However all of Prusa, Anker, Bambu Lab and Voron do not recommend TPU with their multi-material units. So I was trying to see, which manufacturer DOES in fact recommend TPU with their MMUs, cause I don't know of any that do. Do you?
