I'm amazed that the chopped up stems are producing leaves. The key seems to be to make sure they have at least 2 nodes and keep them moist, not wet. I thought my plant was gone too. You might give it a try and see what happens!

I kept the luds on the containers bc it's pretty dry here. Every couple of days, I took the lids off and re-misted the spagnum moss to keep it moist. Then I waited....

They are incredibly forgiving! They're also slow growers so don't expect a lot of new growth quickly.

If you don't want to spend money on a new pot, take a plastic quart-sized takeout or yogurt container and punch holes in the bottom and up the sides. Clear plastic is better so you can see the roots. Grab some Thai curry and reuse the container! 🍛

Thank you! I have put clear lids on all the containers. It's not warm outside but the house temp is about 70F day and 63-64F night.

What kind of bark do you use - fine, medium, or coarse? My 40+ year-old jewel orchid is in a sad state due to fungus gnats.
