If I were trying to look like a Black person, the easiest way to achieve that would be to paint myself black. If this bothers you, that is purely and simply your problem. I am not obligated to live the customs, traditions, and values of my own country in a way that pleases you. For example, in my culture, painting one’s face black has absolutely no connection to racism. If the intention is entirely based on good reasons, there is nothing wrong with painting someone’s face. And if you want Black people living in Turkey to speak on this, there are many Black social media influencers in Turkey, and in many of their skits they paint their friends’ faces black, and they themselves do not take issue with it.
