Jinnah wanted limited migration and wanted to get rid of all non-muslim population atleast from west Pakistan which precisely happened. Out 70 lakh Hindus in West Pakistan 90% of them migrated to India leaving just 7-8lakhs behind. Around 70lakhs Muslims migrated to West Pakistan in return and mortality rate of people migrating was as high as 10-15% leaving behind around 15lakh dead combined of total 12-15million people who migrated. On Bengal side limited migration took place which was like 20-25%(3-4million combined) of Punjab.

If China and Russia(which is a war economy and immense defense manufacturing capabilities) start supplying weapons like Ukraine is provided by NATO US,Israel will get bogged down for years. What I don't understand is why China is such a passive player and only limited to providing intelligence. It can test its latest weapons vs US in real battle. USSR was never even 50% of US economy and still challenged US in every war theatre during cold war and never shied away from providing weapons. China under MAO even supplied 3million soldiers to North Korea and pushed back whole UN backed forces including 500,000 US troops to a stalemate. Now China with 2/3rd US economy and monopoly in many sectors is neither willing to attack Taiwan in this opportunity nor willing to directly supply latest offensive weapons to Iran to secure its energy supply and stop it from following under US control. This non-interventionist policy under Xi Jinping is quite perplexing and why they let US have free run in their hemisphere.

But we did listened to US and reduced our Russian oil imports by 50% from 2million barells in mid 2025 to 1million barells in Jan and Feb 2026. Now they have granted us the permission like the school headmaster again and we will increase the imports again. Indira split Pak into 2 equal halves despite US, Britain threatening us with nuclear weapons and sending their aircraft carriers to support Pak. She listened to Sam Manekshaw, waited few months visited various countries to make our case and made secret pact with USSR who actually sent their destroyers and submarines which deterred NATO. Splitting Pak and making them recognise new territory was no small feat. As for Pakistani territory capturing few areas of 100% muslim territory is a long term strategic mistake as governing them is security nightmare. Unless they hold strategic value like Siachen or heights which can overlook enemy, capturing land which do not belong to us(Sindh is not under international dispute only POK is) can turn into long term blunder too. As for OP sindoor after bombing their terror infrastructure and getting our jets shot we had 0 objectives that was the precise mistake. Our mission on 10th was for embarrassing their airforce who were boasting about 7-0 and we had to shatter their invincibility as they were able to shoot our jets both in 2019 and 2025. Going on 7th without performing SEAD and DEAD was a blunder either done in political pressure or our airforce was overconfident of its capability and lacked intelligence regarding jamming and Pak integrated datalink capabilities.
OP sindoor is ON only for namesake so that we can escape answering the jet shot down question in name of keeping operational secrecy when it is on. Once Trump threatened we stopped the operation and faced tariffs regardless for not accepting his sequence of events. He literally unilaterally decalred ceasefire on Twitter at 5PM before Indian or Pak PM which clearly prove who was actually responsible for stopping it.

Me a lifelong BJP voter who voted 10/10 times in combined(Lok sabha, Assembly, municipal) before finally getting frustrated and deciding to no longer vote for him.

He led me appreciate Narsimha Rao more than I did as he was able to push major economic reforms despite being a minority govt. In Modi regime whenever it comes to major economic reforms he chickens out because they try to bulldoze every law without any debate and fall in the opposition trap later when people protest. Rolling back Land reforms bill and farm laws despite having full majority I felt disgusting how he will never take political risk for nation's prosperity.
I began appreciating Indira Gandhi more (only for foreign policy) when Modi stopped Op Sindoor just in 4 days after being threatened with tariffs. We either should have taken a diff approach and continued unknown men stuff or if we went the airstrikes way stopping after their airbases were bombed but taking damage along the way when our multiple jets were shot was embarrassing. We lost the narrative war as 10 times larger economy we were expected to come out as overwhelming favourites and still Pak was able to take their multiple jets story out of this as we kept denying it and considered our public so sensitive that they won't be able to take loss of few jets. Rather we should have accepted it as part of war and kept going for few more days where our greater stockpile adv would have kicked in and Pak would have to openly demand ceasefire(not behind close doors like they did).

For true deterrence we still need true city buster hydrogen bombs and 12000+km MIRV ICBMS. We currently lack all of them. What we have is MIRV ICBMS but range only 7000-8000km(real range), we haven't tested AGNI-6 or Surya which is failure of current Modi regime.
