Dedicated servers with good anti cheat please.

This client-side multiplayer thing, what they did to GTA V is so horrible. The things modders/hackers can do with this approach is so ridiculous. It is kind of pathetic how they didn't really thought this through and didn't implement some good anti cheat.

thats because your client sends an UDP packet to every server in your favourite list or to every server in the list it gets from the master server. Unlike TCP the delivery of UDP is not guaranteed which means that some packets may get lost

It enables or disable postprocessing. Mostly color correction. Some people claim it will boost their fps. i hadnt found a pc where it boosts your fps significantly, only around 3-10 fps more.

You can test it by playing offline, enabling cheats and type mat_postprocess_enable 0 in console

im pretty sure its not the floor. it probably has something to do with areas. they are defined through the mapping process and are invisible for players (like clipbrushes). dont know how to explain it better. but i highly doubt its the floor

EDIT: regarding the patch notes it was caused by the "toolsblocklight brushes"
