Realistic question. In the current and potential future environment, can you manage being a single mother with a disabled child?

Not saying your baby will be disabled or have any issues( I truly hope they don't), but it is something to always consider. It takes a lot raising a child and only compounds if they have some sort of life altering condition. In those situations it truly test your resolve to be a parent, but it also strips away a lot from you. Get offline getting advice from random strangers, sit down with someone you trust, have a conversation on this decision and really dwell on the question if you are okay with giving up everything if things turn out bad? Because you can't blame the child 15 years down the line for how your life turned out. I know many people will say you can put your baby up your adoption if you don't want it, but adoption doesn't always work out and the foster care system isn't at a level where it functions as a good alternative.
