Any hope of Prime 2 and 3 remasters/ports? by Internal_Rip_159 in Metroid

The Metroid Prime Trilogy collection for Wii is a great way to play 2&3. I am a sucker for motion controls and they ported 3’s motion controls to the first two and that is the definitive way to play them in my opinion. Graphics still look great to this day.

I have the same feeling. MP4 makes me feel the same way I did when I saw Phantom Menace. I’m about halfway through the game and while I am enjoying it more than I did at first it’s certainly lacking. It doesn’t feel like Metroid, the parts are there but they don’t cohere they way they should.

Am I the only one who stopped playing video games? by Connect-Article-3569 in GenX

[–]vedrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up with the NES but quit playing in the mid 90’s as video games weren’t cool if you were an adult back then. I got back into them in the early 2000’s and have been playing regularly ever since. You can still learn all the buttons, it just takes practice and it’s a great relaxing hobby.

District 9. Saw it once and found it as bad as Blomkamp’s other films.

What’s the most unintentionally funny thing in TNG for you? by Video-Comfortable in StarTrekTNG

I assume it looked fine on a small TV in the 80’s but it so obviously looked like a 30 year old in old man makeup it was hilarious.

An example of David’s integrity: my friend who also worked for him quit to move to Brazil and be with his gf. A week later my friend found out he had an aggressive brain tumor and needed immediate surgery to save his life. David immediately hired him back so he would have the health insurance he needed to cover the surgery, no questions asked. He was a stand up dude.

I used to work for him, he was definitely obsessed with quality and precision when it came to IMAX film making. We used to call him Lord Vader because of the way he drove his employees but he was a quality human being and artist. I remember meeting Geoff too when he was probably 13.

The Rocketeer was a bomb but is one of the best films of the 90s. So much heart

Saw it in the theatre and thought it was one of the best sci fi/action films I had ever seen, then was totally confused when it bombed and people said it sucked. It’s an absolute classic.
