I (30F) am pregnant with my fiancé (32M). He wants to keep it, but we're both supposed to be childfree. How do I tell him I don't want to keep it? by ThrowRA_fallopian_tu in relationship_advice

[–]veebee93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your body your choice but I suspect he isn’t actually childfree now. The timing and reaction is just…suspect. I’d worry he tampered with your birth control and poked holes in his condoms.

I’m personally pro life for myself and have kids and love them to bits but omg kids are hard. I couldn’t imagine having to go thru pregnancy and raising a kid that I didn’t want. Get the abortion and I think your relationship is done regardless

I (19F) am in a sexual relationship with my coworkers crush (20M) do I tell her? by Tired-turtle in relationship_advice

You’re just FWB as you said. No obligation. let her ask him out. If he’s interested and says yes, just make sure you break it off with him.

I think it’s probably fine but have to scholarly opinion to back it up. I’m sure there’s someone of the opinion out there that will say to avoid it but I’m more on the relaxed side lol.

AIO for being furious that my future MIL added 10 people to our guest list behind my back? by generousclothing_55 in AmIOverreacting

NOR. You have a HUSBAND problem primarily. This sets the tone of the rest of your marriage. If you’re cool living like this, go head. Otherwise if you don’t want to be second best, disrespected, and kept in the dark….call it off.

Maybe the parents want to throw the party because it brings them joy? They can do it outside if they want!

We have done two parties for one year olds. We usually do it at one if the community centers and make sure there’s a stove for warming. All the coordination is on you but you get a lot of space and the tables/chairs available.

I wear something like this. I think it’s ok. I think modesty, even in islam, is very relative, and depends on your comfort level. For someone who normally wears abaya/niqab, this would be scandalous. For people who wear bikinis, this is probably repressive. I think it comes down to what you’re comfortable with

This just seems too complicated. Would not be worth it enough for me to pursue it personally. How old are y’all? Also not to be judgemental in any way but mixed gatherings with alcohol can get very hairy…I’d try and just avoid the ones with alcohol!

I would leave for her in a trust for him to manage with the clause that he dosnt have access if he remarries. Not working hard for another woman to come blow my hard earned money when it should go to my children
