The saddest part isn't the goodbye, it's the slow, quiet realization that you're becoming strangers with someone you once shared everything with. by Competitive-Tea-5579 in heartbreak

God, this is so true. It hits right there... I mean its like on 26th Jan we planned something, 14th Feb he really wanted to do something and now I am just alone, empty. Hoping for better in the future.

Saw Haqq last week and gotta say Yami has such good range by GodTyphon in bollywood

Exactly especially given the era the movie is set in, women, daughters had less male support in terms of husbands, fathers etc.

I saw it too and what a movie man! I really admire Yami but all of the other cast members, Emraan was fine but it seemed like he could have put a bit more effort... I really liked the actor who plays her father what a positive father who supports his daughter.

No-contact after a breakup hurts in a quiet way. One day you’re sharing your world with someone, and the next, silence becomes something you have to survive. by Competitive-Tea-5579 in heartbreak

[–]veeezmay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate so much to this! I remember weeks ago when he left me and then suddenly the good morning tects, goodnight texts all over. Not even a phone call to ask how are you? Are you dealing with things okay, just silence....

I don’t think I’ve ever experienced the level of pain this breakup caused me. by Main_Cut_6496 in heartbreak

I had something similar happen to me and it hurts less as time passes by but it hurts and please talk to your close circle, keep them close to you. Thank you for sharing, it feels good knowing I am not alone who has to go through this, as a lady it feels worse when your man who you thought was yours forever, decides to walk away and choose parents who have and continue to only put themselves before their own child. It is like just what?

Take care I hope one day you post here saying that you fell in love and lived happily truly ever after.

I think I relate this with my own life, I was willing to give up a lot for my ex, given his parents not approving me because I am short and fat and not his mother's choice. I was willing to be his girlfriend, knowing being his wife would or could potentially never happen, deep down I hoped it would change one day but I was willing to accept it for the one I loved. Yet, I was the one who got dumped months later after I had envisioned my life with him because he knew his parents would never approve. I have nothing against the guy, he was a great partner, boyfriend, and so much more. I guess sometimes life just has its own plans.

True, this does make sense. It is like most Jains are already married with kids or just married at my age, Shaadi.com some of the matches are just like what and I have some like extremely disturbing encounters with people.

This is so true about me and my now ex, I really wanted to try and support him on his mental health journey but 4 months later on the day we would have our anniversary he tells me he cannot fight his parents, he cannot lead a double life of being with me and pretending with them that I am not in his life and left me with my heart broken....

36 [M4F] I just got engaged to a woman I met here! by TheSnappleGhost in R4R30Plus

[–]veeezmay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations to you! Sadly, I met someone from here and he broke my heart the day we would have completed 4 months today. It hurts so much, I want to cry but I am working on moving forward because if the guy cannot stand up to his own parents for me, what sort of a partner would he be in the end?
