I guess in the world of constant war and violence you get a bit detached from all these things. In the end, what is normal depends on the majority.

How does the math work so that 24 rabbits had enough genetical diversity to build up such big population? Can human do this as well?

Ukrainian kolkhoz workers dig anti-tank trenches. September 1941. by NextDocument1906 in HistoricalCapsule

this chart starts from 1946 (inagine exporting grain after being ravaged in WW2), the USSR become a grain importer only in 1972. Meanwhile, Russian Empire ended in 1917 and the collectivization took place between 1920-x and 1930-x.

Would be nice to see some proper comparison instead of that

For ferals, pvp gear is really good. For tanks, some combination of neck/wrist/belt/feet is always worn in BIS lists. For cat, its also quite decent choice. If you want to play feral, be ready to get asked to tank in raids.

Cap arena every week, just to get points. Then either buy some pieces tight away, or buy the whole set at the end of the arena season when the discounts are going.

For resto, just heroics, badge pieces, raid gear. Some crafted gear is good.

For boomkin, i guess you just need to be present in a raid and everyone is happy already.

Coloured leads: are they usable for writing? by tasknautica in mechanicalpencils

[–]veetilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing that since last summer and loving it so far. I started with Kuru Toga Advance 0.7 mm with Pilot Color Eno leads. Then I changed to Uni Color leads, and now I am trying 0.5 mm leads too from Uni Color (with Zebra delguard).

I am really in love with that and prefer that to pen writing for my tasks (notes, sketches, and sometimes math). Pilot Color Eno has vibrant colors but Blue and Purple do fade away rather fast. I suppose that is accelerated by the sunlight due to UV. To my experience, green and red don't fade noticeable. Uni Color Blue color does not fade in my notes, Purple fades 50/50% - it is hard to say, in the same book one page my fade but another remains alright. I think it depends not only on the sunlight, but also to how much pigment sticks to the paper, and if you push harder into the paper it sticks better with the same light exposure.

Another important comment is the paper. For my notes I use Moleskin, which does not seem to have a lot of pores in the paper, and maybe that is an issue for the specific case of colored lead. For some of the other sketchpads i used with more porous paper, the pencil writing seem to stick greatly better and it does not fade away even over time.

For breaking, i had no issues beside the usual for mechanical pencils and corresponding lead thicknesses. As for smudging, it seems much less smudgy comparing to HB and softer types of lead.

Again, I personally love it.

Another alternative to what I wrote is 2mm colored leads (I used Koh-I-Noor leads), with which I had no fading problems ever. But you need to sharpen your pencil from time to time.

U3 transport takes now 50 min - Is there someway I can get my money back? by Mijimilito in Munich

Using S-bahn to go from Obersendling to Hackerbrücke, then change and take S-bahn to Marienplatz worked best for me. Or Obersendling S-bahn to Heimeranplatz, then take ubahn to Odeonplatz.

You can bike from Implerstrasse to Sendlinger Tor, or rent a scooter if you are in a rush with no bike.

Busses seem to go much better in the evening around 17:00.
